Help For You

If you have a long-term illness or disability – or a member of your family has – and you need financial help towards the cost of living independently at home, we may be able to help.

You must be in financial need and unable to:

  • afford the equipment or building work yourself, or
  • obtain the funding that you require from statutory services.

We only accept grant applications from health or social care professionals, or advisors or support workers from other organisations or charities.

If you believe you might be eligible for a grant, please ask your physiotherapist, occupational therapist, mental health nurse, GP, or social prescriber, social worker or an advisor from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or another charity or organisation to act as your Referrer.

Having found a Referrer, please ask him or her to go to the ‘how to apply‘ page of this website and complete our online application form on your behalf.

Our grants can be added to funds raised from other charities or from statutory services to help complete a purchase.
