Discover our Chair Yoga Experience at John Lewis & Partners

We’re so pleased to share that Independence at Home is hosting a Chair Yoga workshop on Wednesday 24 October at 11am in the Discovery Room, Floor 3 at John Lewis & Partners, Westfield.
Chair Yoga is a gentle, great way to try out specially adapted yoga poses whilst seated on a chair. It’s a fun activity that gets you moving and helps improve physical, mental and emotional well-being. There are many benefits, including improved flexibility, better concentration, increased strength and reduced joint strain. Best of all, it’s easy and simple to practise at home or anywhere you can find a place to sit.
The Chair Yoga workshop is fully inclusive and suitable for all. Participants will be taught by an experienced yoga teacher, and will pick up great tips to improve their health and wellbeing.
This is a free session for participants over 18, and we recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing. Spaces are limited so if you’d like to try Chair Yoga out, book your place now.
